Catherine Papaioannou
Catherine Papaioannou is a visionary entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in olive oil production, marketing, and exports. Her journey began in her family’s olive oil business, where she developed a deep appreciation for Greek agricultural heritage. Over the years, she expanded her expertise, exporting Greek olive oil to 27 countries and championing its cultural significance.
Her dream, Explore the Real Greece, is a manifestation of her passion for Greece's authentic beauty. The project aims to highlight the country’s rich traditions, agrotourism, gastronomy, and local culture, offering travelers meaningful and immersive experiences. Catherine envisions Explore the Real Greece as a bridge connecting visitors to the heart of Greece—its land, people, and stories—while fostering sustainability and supporting local communities.
